HQ Professional
HQP combines traditional heartrate variability and tracks deeper into Eastern medicine. It is like an electronic pulse analysis. This takes years to learn and HQ can visually display Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine from evaluating the ECG instantly and accurately.
The home/remote unit (HQ2) can be used by the professional health care provider to track their patients from a distance whether you do telemedicine or not. This also empowers the patient to take an active part in their health.

Key Metrics For
The Practitioner.

5 Minute Test
Easy to interpret for the health care provider and the visual information is pertinent and impactful for the patient. Takes only 5 minutes to administer. Compact and highly portable.
Western Metrix
These screens visualize traditional parameters seen in the scientific literature on Heart Rate Variability. We measure 2 parameters the, (Time Domain) and the (Spectral Analysis). Time domain measures the time between each successive contraction of the heart depicted on the ECG as R waves. We measure one R wave to the next for 5 minutes.
What controls the time between them is the Autonomic Nervous System. The greater the variability, the healthier and more adaptable the patient is to all stress. When we lose this flexibility health declines. The Frequency Spectrum is where we break the heart rhythm into individual frequency ranges that correspond to specific physiology.
As seen on the pie diagram as :
- HF (High Frequency, Parasympathetic Nervous),
- LF (Low Frequency, Sympathetic Nervous system)
- VLF (Very Low Frequency, Neurohormonal regulation or the HPA axis) and is also seen in the scientific literature.
Eastern Metrix
All systems of the body are interconnected and for the first time we are able to visualize the energy flow and power of the meridians. We can see if the information through the meridian is normal, deficient, or is stagnate or not moving properly. Here we want to improve information flow for self-healing.
WESTERN METRIX

Balance between HF, LF, VLF
Is visualized on a pie chart and LF shown in yellow is the initial response to real or perceived stress. Adrenaline is produced to affect the target organs to prepare the body to respond to the stress. This is an extremely fast response. Once the stress is over, we go to the HF green part of the pie which is the parasympathetic nervous system also called (rest and digest).
The physiology here is the opposite of LF and is designed to heal and regenerate and reset the body back to the prestress state. Unfortunately, in today’s stress world most people are habituated on the yellow LF fight or flight side of the equation. This is what contributes to why some patients are stuck in chronic health situations. The last scenario is VLF which is the red part of the pie, and this is a reflection of chronic stress and the release of cortisol in response to stress.
We see this go up with aging and most chronic health issues. Health can be improved by decreasing the red part of the pie. We need all aspects of the frequency spectrum in the correct balance. Age also has an effect on the frequency spectrum.
Total Power
Is the sum of all frequencies measured such as low frequencies, high frequencies, and very low frequencies from the spectral analysis of the ECG. This gives us a good indication of the patient’s overall energy.

Stress Level
The stress Index is a reflection of how much tension is on the nervous system in response to stress coming from mental emotional stress, toxic stress or physical trauma. If the stress Index is high, it may be an indication to improve diet, proper exercise, quality sleep, targeted detoxification, vagal nerve stimulation, Adaptagenic herbs, CBD, Solara Gem on sapphire on the crown etc.

RMSSD
Represents the strength of your ANS specifically your parasympathetic nervous system. This is used to evaluate recovery the day following physical exertion. When RMSSD is low it may be a good indicator for Vagal nerve stimulation to improve overall health.
Neuro - Hormonal
This is a mathematical construct from the spectral domain calculated from LF, HF, VLF and broken down into the meridians from Chinese medicine. Within these frequency ranges we have hypothesized the connection between what these meridians represent as far as neurotransmitters, hormones, and minerals. This is the bridge between Eastern and Western physiology. This is in no way a substitute for conventional lab work. The hormones, neurotransmitters and minerals in the HQ are equivalent representations from Chinese medicine.

Neurohormonal Regulation
This parameter is looking at the VLF in relationship to HF and LF and gives a range of normal to severe imbalance. With a high % of VLF in relation to HF and LF, this indicates that the body is utilizing lots of resources to compensate for less autonomic nervous system regulation. It is the Autonomic Nervous System that responds quickly to any stress.
Inflam Index
This index is derived out of research from Russia and gives us the possibility of an inflammatory process going on but must be confirmed by running inflammatory markers on a blood test such as hCRP, inflammatory cytokines via the Innovative Bioanalysis Long Hauler panel.
ICP
ICP stands for intracranial pressure. The definition is pressure within the cranial compartment, a closed system that compromises a fixed volume of neural tissue, blood, and cerebrospinal fluid. In the HQ we have 2 choices-- within normal limits (WNL) or high. When high it is observed that the patient may have vascular headaches. It has been shown in the literature that Melatonin can possibly reduce ICP. It may also help to improve lymphatic circulation and brain circulation as well. These readings came from Russian scientists who measured ICP and also measured heart rate variability at the same time and developed a mathematical algorithm found in HQ.
EASTERN METRIX

Five Elements
In traditional Chinese medicine we are made of wood, fire, metal, and water. Each element is associated with a certain body organ, color, taste, emotion, and a season of the year. All these elements interact with one another in specific ways. With HQ we can visually see where the imbalances are and get an indication which elements need relief or support.

Meridians
Energy pathways running through the body as described in traditional Chinese medicine that drive information flow to organs and systems. Specific meridian pathways are connected to the organs they are named after such as LV for liver meridian. The meridians also affect all areas of the body where that meridian passes through. The HQ can give us a visual indication of the state of these meridians either balanced, deficient or excess/stagnant.

Energy Plexus
Represent nerve plexus that represent a bundle of interesting nerves that correspond in the HQ to 7 regions of the body and supply information to those areas. In Eastern and Ayurvedic medicine they also supply information to specific regions and organs in those regions and also have a very specific psycho-emotional aspect.
Get your HQ System today...
HeartQuest Professional is your window into all the interconnected regulatory systems that shift your physiology in the direction of homeostatic balance especially the ANS, the master regulatory system. The readings on HQ will visually show you if the patient has lost homeostatic capacity and is unable to self correct reflecting health issues, blood pressure/cardiovascular concerns, digestive complaints, inflammation, emotional stressors and immune concerns, etc
